About holding of "Yokohama-shi central wholesale market fish cultural festival 2023"

　The event "Yokohama City Central Wholesale Market Fish Cultural Festival 2023" hosted by the Yokohama Market Promotion Committee and the Smart Niche Cheering Team (Location: Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama City) will be held next to the market.
　The Fish Cultural Festival was held in Nippon-Maru Memorial Park in FY2021 and FY2022, but this is the first time that the festival will be held in adjacent markets.
　On the day, we will prepare a “touch pool” where you can directly touch the fish at the market, a stage event where children and adults can learn about the sea and fish together, and a booth where you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
　Through this event, we will convey the importance of fish food to children and disseminate the appeal of market ingredients such as marine products and fruits and vegetables that are not usually easily tasted.
