Hama's market style! Fish rice to eat with a baby
Last Updated November 5, 2024
Overview
At the home of the Yokohama City Central Wholesale Market, under the supervision of the Kanagawa Prefectural Dietitian Association, we cooperated with the "Yokohama Market Promotion Committee" organized by businesses in the market and the "Komatsuna Nursery School" located in the market. We have created a separate baby food recipe book using fish and vegetables.
Background
This time, we have created a baby food recipe book especially for child-rearing households, with the desire to let younger generations know the taste of fresh foods such as fish and vegetables, which are the items handled at the Yokohama Central Wholesale Market.
According to the Fisheries White Paper, the intake of seafood, especially those in their 40s and younger, has been decreasing recently. However, there are many types of fish and it is easy to loosen, so it is very suitable for baby food. Also, it has abundant umami ingredients, so it goes well with dashi soup.
Please enjoy your meal at home using seasonal ingredients for each season.
