※Fish and shellfish can be purchased on January 11 (second Saturday) and January 25 (fourth Saturday).

※On January 4 (the first Saturday), it is closed and will not be open to the public.

3rd Saturday	Market expedition We will show you the facilities in the market that you cannot usually see. -You can tour and experience various facilities in the market, such as a 40-degree ultra-low temperature refrigerator and a mock auction experience. [Reception] From 8:00 a.m., reception will be held at the Fish Bank. ※The exploration will begin at 8:45 a.m. ※Please refer to the “Guide Map on the 1st floor in the Fisheries Building” on the website for “Uokawagisho”. Municipal bus: From Yokohama Station East Exit Bus Terminal No. 4, get off at Chuo-shijo-mae bound for Cotton Harbor, 48 municipal buses.

Do you have a parking lot in bicycle parking lots?

There are parking lots and bicycle parking lots, but there is a limited number for market participants. Please use public transportation as much as possible.

Is it possible to shop on days other than the market opening day?

The Yokohama Central Wholesale Market is a commercial market, so it does not retail to citizens. Therefore, shopping is not possible except on open days. However, the related building cafeterias and merchandise sales areas are open to the public on the opening day of the Yokohama Market (Fishery Department).

Is there a restaurant in the market? Can I use it again?

There is a restaurant in the related building (the building on the right side of the entrance of the Fisheries Department to the back right), so please use it.

Is it possible to take a pet in?

Please refrain from entering with your pet. (Assistive dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, hearing dogs) can enter.)

Do you sell fish in fillet packs etc. when opening the market?

Basically, sales are made with head and tail, but some stores sell sashimi or fences. Depending on the store, we also offer a service to lower fish.
