Friday, April 19, 2024, with the aim of deepening mutual understanding between shippers, wholesalers and trading participants, establishing fattening techniques for beef cattle, improving meat quality, and raising management motivation. The 36th Yokohama Meat Fair was held in this market.
Brokers and trading participants made a successful bid for high-quality carcass exhibited from all over the country at a high price, and were able to successfully hold the event successfully.
A total of 173 cows, 108 wagyu and 65 hybrids, were listed, and the "Wagyu Division" honorary prize was selected for the "Wagyu section" honorary prize. Shipping cattle (female, A5, 575kg, BMS No.9) from "Oku Karuizawa Farm Co., Ltd." were selected as the highest award for the "crossssing" category.
