Exemptions (advertisements, etc. that can be displayed or installed without permission)

1 Advertisements, etc. to be displayed or installed in accordance with the provisions of other laws, ordinances, or rules

Advertising materials to be displayed or installed on two people, animals or vehicles (excluding trains and cars)

3 Advertisements that display the name of the donor on facilities or properties required for the public interest that meet all of the following criteria

  • The display area of the part displaying the donor's name is 0.5 square meters or less, and do not use fluorescent paints or the like.
  • The projected area of the donor's name when viewed from the display direction of advertising materials, etc. shall be less than one-twentieth of the projected area of the facility, etc. when viewed from the same direction.

4 Private outdoor advertising materials that meet all of the following standards

  • The total display area per site must be 10 square meters or less (in the case of trains, cars, and ships, the rules on the area do not apply.) In addition, permission may be necessary even if display area is less than 10 square meters in scenery plan area.
  • Do not use fluorescent paints or the like.
  • Blinking devices, video devices, and projected advertising materials cannot be displayed or installed in prohibited areas. However, it can be displayed or installed when only images that have been static for more than 15 seconds are displayed among the video equipment and projection advertising materials.

5 Outdoor advertising materials for management that meet all of the following standards

  • The total display area shall be less than 5 square meters.
  • Do not use fluorescent paints or the like.
  • Do not use video equipment.
  • Do not display projected advertising materials.
  • Do not use blinking equipment for those displayed or installed in prohibited areas.

6 Advertisements to be temporarily displayed or installed for ceremonial occasions, festivals, etc. (removal within 7 days from the date of completion)

7 Advertisements to be displayed or installed on board fences at construction sites or other similar temporary enclosures that are not for profit

8 Information boards, bulletin boards, or advertising materials that display or install the names of public facilities such as public offices, schools, etc. that meet the standards of each advertising material, etc.

9 Advertisements that explain the origins of business structures, facilities, monuments, etc. that conform to the standards of each advertising material

Advertisements to be displayed or installed for the purpose of providing 10 public purposes or public convenience, etc. that conform to the standards such as each advertising material and that the mayor recognizes that it does not hinder the landscape

11 Advertisements, etc. displayed or installed for advertising, gatherings, events, entertainments, etc. conducted by political parties or other political organizations, labor unions, or other organizations or individuals as political activities or labor movements that conform to the standards of each advertising material thing

12 Postcards, postcards, advertising flags, standing signs, etc., which are displayed or installed for advertising, gatherings, events, entertainments, etc. that are not intended for profit, and conform to all of the following standards

  • The display area shall be 1 square meter or less.
  • Do not use fluorescent paints or the like.
  • Do not display or install the same thing continuously.
  • Please provide your contact information.
  • Removal shall be made within 7 days from the date on which the advertisement, assembly, event, entertainment, etc. are completed.

13 Postcards, postcards, advertising flags, standing signs, etc., which are displayed or installed on the premises of the facility for lectures, exhibitions, concerts, etc., and are similar to these, and conform to all of the following standards: thing

  • The display area shall be 1 square meter or less.
  • Do not use fluorescent paints or the like.
  • Do not display or install the same thing continuously.
  • Please provide your contact information.
  • Display or install within 7 days before the event, and remove on the end date.
