Measures against storm and flood damage at dangerous goods facilities

To all business sites that possess dangerous goods facilities

 Due to heavy rain and typhoon No. 21 in July 2018, heavy damage occurred at dangerous goods facilities such as gas stations and dangerous goods warehouses due to flooding and strong winds. Based on these circumstances, typhoons, etc., ensure prompt and accurate emergency measures can be ensured according to possible disaster risks (risk of flooding, landslides, etc.) that can be assumed at the location where dangerous goods facilities are located due to typhoons, etc. The Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications issued the “Guidelines for Countermeasures against Flood Damage to Dangerous Goods Facilities” (hereinafter referred to as “Guidelines”).
 For business establishments that have dangerous goods facilities, please use the guidelines when taking measures against storm and flood damage.
