[End of the event] Special exhibition "Living with Trees"

October is stipulated in the Wood Use Promotion Month by the Urban Wood Construction Promotion Act. In Yokohama City, in order to deepen interest and understanding of the use of wood that leads to the prevention of global warming, the importance of wood use, the effect of wood conversion, and the use of eco-friendly houses for citizens visiting the city hall We will hold a special exhibition to introduce wood conversion.

Time: From 9:00 to 20:00 (until 17:00 on the 29th)

Venue location: Presentation space on the 2nd floor of Yokohama City Hall

・We will display woody furniture and wall flooring materials so that you can feel the scent and feel of wood.
・We will display wood products that are familiar to daily life, such as prints and interior goods using wood from Kanagawa Prefecture.
（２） Initiatives of Timber Companies
・Examples of the use of wood in buildings and the benefits of wood will be introduced through videos and photos.
（３） Initiatives of Yokohama City
・We will introduce initiatives for "Examples of wood use of public buildings in Yokohama City", "CASBEE Yokohama Labeling System" and "Commendation examples such as excellent wood use buildings".
