Emissions
Changes in CO2 emissions and the number of registered businesses by sector (FY2018-2022 results)

Distribution of the number of businesses that reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Approximately 50% of the companies that submitted the report (2022 results) in FY2023 reduced CO2 emissions compared to the base year.

Frequency distribution of the annual average reduction rate of CO2 basic emissions by business operators

Note) Calculation of reduction rate and annual average reduction rate
            (Reduction rate) ={(base year emissions) – (2022 emissions)} / (base year emissions)
(Annual average reduction rate) = (reduction rate) / (number of years elapsed since the base year of the implementation year)
