Previous Fiscal Year Announcements (FY2022 Report and Plan)
Based on Article 144, Paragraph 4 of the Ordinance on the conservation, etc. of Yokohama City Living Environment, regarding the Global Warming Countermeasures Plan submitted by Global Warming Countermeasures Companies in FY2022 and the status of implementation of measures to prevent global warming, We will publish the summary and individual reports.

Summary of FY2022 Report
Trends in Greenhouse Gas Emissions (FY2017-2021 results)
In fiscal 2022, 312 companies submitted their reports (fiscal 2021 results), with a total CO2 emissions of 6.62 million t-CO2.
Compared to the previous fiscal year, overall CO2 emissions increased by about 6%.
This is probably due to a slight recovery in business activities that fell due to the COVID-19 pandemic in FY2021.

Distribution of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Rates
When limited to 255 reporting companies in the third fiscal year ending this plan period, more than 80% of them have reduced CO2 emissions from the base year (FY2018).

Status of Priority Measures
In Yokohama City, 18 measures that have a high effect on reducing greenhouse gases are designated as priority measures, and the status of implementation is confirmed.
The implementation rate of priority measures for FY2021 for businesses (312 persons) who submitted the report in FY2022 was as follows.
In each case, the implementation rate was higher than 80%.

Under this system, equipment replacement, operation improvement, switching to energy sources with low emission factors, switching to low-carbon electricity, etc.
We have reported the results of reduction through voluntary measures.
