Environmental Risk Assessment

Last Updated October 18, 2024

Environmental risk assessment refers to the quantitative study and evaluation of "the risk of adverse effects on human health and ecosystems through environmental pollution" (environmental risk) from a scientific point of view.
Today, a wide variety of chemical substances are discharged into the environment, and in order to prevent the undesirable environmental impact of these substances, it is necessary to conduct environmental risk assessments of chemical substances and take measures to reduce environmental risks as necessary based on the results.
