What is dioxin?
Dioxins are substances that are unintentionally generated as impurities that are generated when burning chlorine-containing substances or that are generated at the same time during the production of chemical substances.
Under the Act on Special Measures against Dioxins, dibenzo-para-dioxin (PCDD) and polychlorinated dibenzofuran (PCDF) including coplanar polychloride biphenyl (coplanar PCB) is defined as dioxins.
About the Law Concerning Special Measures against Dioxins
In order to prevent and remove environmental pollution caused by dioxins, it is a law that stipulates the standards that should be the basis of measures related to dioxins, as well as necessary regulations and measures for contaminated soil.
