• In Yokohama City, when applying for a license for the industrial waste treatment business, the applicant will submit the Nihon Sangyo Waste Management Promotion Center (JW Center) as a “documents explaining the technical capabilities sufficient to carry out the business”. We are requesting the submission of a certificate of completion of the "Lecture for Industrial Waste or Specially Managed Industrial Waste Disposal Business".
• Since FY2021, the Nihon Sangyo Waste Management Promotion Center (JW Center) has been conducting workshops in an online format (two-stage format where you can watch lecture videos on a computer and take a test at a later date) since FY2021. Therefore, if you are unable to submit a certificate of completion of the workshop on the date of application for renewal permission, please submit a written oath at the time of application. Please note that the examination will be performed after the certificate of completion is submitted, so it may take some time to issue the permit.

• Until a decision to approve or disapproval of the renewal permit application is made, the previous permit is valid (deemed permission <Article 14, Paragraph 3 of the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law, Article 14, Paragraph 8 of the Act, Act Article 14-4, Paragraph 8 of the Act) Article 14-4, Paragraph 8 of the Act).
