About application for permission of industrial waste disposal business

• In Yokohama City, when applying for a license for the industrial waste disposal business, the applicant will conduct the Nihon Sangyo Waste Management Promotion Center (JW Center) as "documents explaining the technical capabilities sufficient to carry out the business". We are requesting the submission of a certificate of completion of the “Classroom on Application for Permission for Industrial Waste or Specially Managed Industrial Waste Disposal Business”.
• Since FY2021, the Nihon Sangyo Waste Management Promotion Center (JW Center) has been conducting seminars online (two-step format where you can watch lecture videos on a personal computer and take tests at the venue at a later date) and most of the venues are still online. Therefore, if you are unable to submit a certificate of completion of the workshop on the date of application for renewal permission, please submit a written oath at the time of application. In addition, since the examination will be performed after the certificate of completion is submitted, it may take some time to issue the permit.

• Until a decision on permission or non-permission for the renewal permission application is made, the previous permission is valid (deemed permission <Article 14, Paragraph 3 of the Act on Waste Disposal and Cleaning, Article 14, Paragraph 8 of the Act, Article 14-4, Paragraph 3, Article 14-4, Paragraph 8 of the Act>).
