Overview
Isogo Ward is the town where the Showa princess "Hibari Misora" was born and raised. Isogo Ward is a diverse city that retains the atmosphere of a downtown area, a new residential area on the hill, and an industrial area in the coastal area where large companies are located.
In the spring of Isogo, plums, the trees of the ward, tell the coming of spring at Myoho-ji Temple and Okamura Bairin, and cherry blossoms bloom in full bloom at the Ookagawa Branch Waterway Promenade and Kuraki Park. During early summer, forest bathing in the Hitorizawa Shimin-no-Mori, which is the headwaters of the Ooka River. In the fall, the Isogo Industrial Road is a pedestrian paradise, and the largest event in the ward, which is crowded with many inhabitants of the ward. Why don't you go along the road to cheer for the Kanagawa Marathon. In addition, there are many other attractions in the ward, such as the Sandendai archeological site where ancient romance breathes, the Kuraki Noh stage where you can immerse yourself in the world of mystery, the Hamagin Children's Space Science Museum, where both children and adults can enjoy, and the City Electric Preservation Museum.
In addition to its headquarters, there are Sugita and Yokodai fire branch offices in Isogo fire department. Twenty fire trucks and about 120 employees are engaged in fire prevention, disaster prevention, rescue, rescue and emergency services.
