Residential fire alarms installed in many homes are at the time of replacement.

 The Sugita Regional Union Neighborhood Associations was awarded the Director General (Chairman) Award at the Isogo Ward Citizen's Day Promotion Committee for Disaster Prevention.
 The award ceremony was held at the Isogo Ward Union Presidency Meeting held on November 18, 2024, and a letter of appreciation was presented by Mayor Isao Takahashi.
 Mr. Suda said, "This is a medal given by the local people. I want to continue without fire in the future. "

On January 24, 2024, the self-government Neighborhood Associations (Chairman Minoru Tanabe) of the Isogo Ward Uesasashita Union, achieved a series of fire-free fires.‼

Watch out for electric fires!

 In 2023, 733 fires occurred in the city, an increase of 94 compared to the previous year, and tobacco ranked first in the cause of fire for the second consecutive year.
 There were 14 deaths from fires (excluding arson and suicide), all of which occurred in houses, and 70% were elderly people.
 The number of electrical fires in all fires (fires from equipment, supplies, equipment, etc. that use electricity as energy sources) was 211, the highest ever.
I did it. The number of fires caused by lithium-ion batteries has increased significantly in recent years, with 37 fires in all fires and 13 fires in house fires.
