Call 119 at the time of power outage

Even if a power outage occurs, the Fire Command Center can continue to operate with an emergency power supply.
Whether you can make a 119 call from your phone depends on the model.
For details, check the instruction manual of your phone or contact your contracted telecommunications carrier.

Telephones that are basically unavailable

Telephones that are constantly connected to a commercial power supply (outlet) are basically unavailable.

  • IP phones using optical lines
  • IP phones using ADSL lines
  • Landline telephones and IP phones using CATV lines
  • ISDN
  • Subscribers that use commercial power from outlets

Telephones that may be available

  • Payphones
  • Analog telephones such as black telephones
  • Telephones that respond to power outages (single-function telephones without answering machine functions, etc.)
  • Telephones equipped with its own spare power supply.

Mobile phones (smartphones, feature phone, etc.)

  • You can use it. However, if there is a failure in the surrounding base station, etc., it may not be possible to connect.

Net119 Emergency Call System

  • It can be used in the same way as reporting from a mobile phone.

FAX119

  • If your fax machine is not powered on your fax machine, you will not be able to receive and receive calls.
  • It may be available if power is supplied by a spare power supply or the like.

Inquiries regarding power outages

  • Information such as restoration of power outages cannot be provided by the fire department.
  • 119 is the emergency calls to detect disasters, so please refrain from making inquiries.
