City of Yokohama, Fire Bureau aims to improve children's ability to deal with fires and other dangers, firefighters are dispatched to elementary schools to provide hands-on curriculum.
The implementation time and content can be adjusted according to your request. Please use it during social studies time!

Class hours are based on 45 to 90 minutes, but can be changed according to your request.

Oh Fire response and prevention (119 call training, smoke experience, usage of fire extinguisher, fire alarms for homes, fire causes and countermeasures, etc.)
Oh Response and preparation in the event of an earthquake (response to disasters, daily preparation, etc.)
Oh Response and preparation for wind and flood damage (risk of wind and flood damage, evacuation at home or on the go, daily preparation, etc.)

About classes online

From 2021, classes are also available online via Zoom.
The travel time has been reduced, and class time can be secured longer than before, and questions are also effective as measures against heat stroke and infectious diseases such as influenza.
