Outline of Yokohama City LED Security Light Business

In order to improve the local safe and secure anti-crime program environment, we will install LED security lights based on local requests and carry out maintenance. Based on requests from Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, we will carry out systematic rebuilding of existing aging steel pipe poles, replacing lamps due to non-lighting, and emergency response in case of collapse or damage.
We also support management fee maintenance of security lights owned by Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.

In the city, maintenance of LED security lights installed (approximately 180,000 lights (breakdown: about 160,000 utility pole co-mounted type, about 20,000 independent pillar (steel pipe pole) type)), maintenance such as payment of electricity charges and repair in case of breakdown to hold. Remarkably deteriorated steel pipe poles will be removed, and lamps will be relocated to nearby telephone poles and rebuilt.
In addition, we ask all members of Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association for daily monitoring, such as finding and communicating failures and removing overgrown vegetation.

Based on the application from the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, LED security lights will be installed within the budget in accordance with the Yokohama City Security Light Installation Standards.

When Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and residential land development companies newly install LED security lights on telephone poles on their own, consult with the city in advance, and if they meet the Yokohama City LED security light specifications and the Yokohama City Security Light Installation Standards, We accept donations to

①Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and developers: First of all, before installing, we will discuss whether you can receive a donation of security lights.
※In the city, check whether it is a place to illuminate public roads (whether there are more than 5 houses), or if consent is obtained in the case of private land, etc.
②Developers and Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations: Please submit consultation documents and attached documents.
③City: We issue consultation result letter of advice and "LED crime prevention light management plate".
④Developers and Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations: We will carry out installation work for security lights. We install management plate which received grant from city.
⑤Developers and Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations: After installation work is completed, submit a notification of completion and attached documents. We will pay the electricity bill until the city switches the electricity rate.
⑥City: We are switching to electricity contracts. Donation acceptance will be completed.

We will provide subsidies for maintenance and management costs for security lights managed by Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association.
