A psychiatrist is available once a month at the ward office for those who are worried about forgetfulness and are reluctant to go to a medical institution.
We also provide consultation by visiting if necessary.

The Medical Center for Dementia Diseases is a specialized medical institution for dementia. Nine locations are set up in Yokohama City, and are available for consultation by telephone or interview (reservation required).

In order to promote early detection and early response of dementia, we will conduct a free forgetful health check-up (simple test of dementia) for those aged 50 or older living in the city (once a year). Forgetful health check-up is available at medical institutions in the city. If you suspect dementia, we will introduce you to a specialized medical institution. However, the introduction fee is charged.

A team composed of medical and nursing professionals visits the homes of people with dementia or suspected dementia who are not connected to medical care or nursing care, provides consultation at medical institutions and support the use of nursing care services, We give advice according to the state of the country.

For early detection and early treatment of dementia, we have created a “forgetful consultation sheet” to be brought at a medical institution and used it on site so that cooperation between medical care and nursing care can be facilitated.
