In January 2010, Aoba Ward concluded a basic agreement on cooperation and cooperation with universities in order to deepen local ties with six universities with campuses in the ward.

（１） Purpose
The purpose of this agreement is to contribute to the development of human resources, the improvement of academic research and the formation and development of vibrant and unique communities by effectively utilizing the intellectual, human, and material resources of both partiesAoba Ward.

Aoba 6 University Information Corner is set up in the ward hall on the first floor of the Aoba Ward Office. There are university information and event information for each university, so you can take it home freely. Please drop in when you come to the ward office.

About the logo mark

In fiscal 2012, we asked Yokohama University of Fine Arts to create a logo in order to increase the sense of solidarity between Aoba Ward and six universities, as well as to make local people feel more familiar and attractive. After the selection at the University Coordinator Meeting, the logo was created by Aoi Masuda, a third-year student of the graphic design course (at that time) was selected.
