World No Tobacco Day (May 31)
This is the World Action Day "Aiming for a 21st Century Tobacco" set by WHO (World Health Organization) participating countries.

Non-smoking Week (May 31-June 6)
The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has designated the week from World No Tobacco Day as "No Smoking Week" and will actively promote awareness of smoking cessation in accordance with the theme.

We will hold a panel exhibition and commemorative event on tobacco.

At Azamino Station, we conducted educational activities at Health and Welfare Division with health promotion staff.

If it is difficult to quit smoking on your own, it is recommended that you consult a doctor in a non-smoking outpatient clinic.
If you work with a doctor or nurse, you may be able to quit smoking.

At a pharmacy certified by the Yokohama City Pharmacists Association, you can feel free to consult about smoking cessation methods and correct use of smoking cessation aids free of charge.
A pharmacist will suggest a smoking cessation method that suits the person.
