Food Sanitation Officer

It is designated class for person engaged as food hygiene manager in city food handling facility.
The food hygiene manager must attend the food hygiene workshop (designated workshop) designated by the mayor or the health center director, and always strive to acquire new knowledge.

All are from 14:00 to 15:30 (reception starts from 13:30)

Items to bring Food Sanitation Officer's Card (Food Sanitation Officer Card), Writing Equipment

One month before the course will be accepted by telephone, fax or electronic application. (The content is the same every time.)
When applying, please provide 1 desired date 2 location of the store, 3 Name of the store, 4 Name of the Food Sanitation Officer, and contact information.
The application will be closed when the capacity (20 people) is reached. Thank you for your understanding.

There is also a designated course (paid) sponsored by the Tsuzuki Ward   Food Sanitation Association.

If you have a food hygiene manager, or when the business operator becomes a food hygiene manager, please notify us immediately.
However, if there is no person who is qualified as a food hygiene manager in a new business, be sure to install it within 3 months after permission.

●Request for Food Sanitation Officer It is available at the counter.

●If any of the following applies, you can become a food hygiene officer.
1. A person who satisfies the qualification requirements of a food hygiene monitor or food hygiene manager
2. Cooks, confectionery hygienist, nutritionist, ship cook
3. Hygiene management officer or work hygiene manager prescribed in the Slaughterhouse Law
4. Poultry treatment hygiene manager prescribed in the regulation of poultry processing business and the poultry inspection law
5. Those who have attended one of the following classes
　　・Seminars on food hygiene and other public health designated by the director of the public health center (food hygiene manager training course)
　　・Food hygiene instructor training course conducted by the Yokohama City Food Sanitation Association

Person who was recognized as food hygiene manager based on the regulations about standard of measures to be taken in public health based on Yokohama-shi Food Sanitation Law before abolition
