Q.What kind of life can I live in Seya?
A.Seya Ward is located in Yokohama, but it is a city where you can live while feeling close to water and greenery.
Waterside of Izumi River
Izumi River is a river originating from Seya Ward.
Previously, it was a killing river separated by iron plates, but a section of about 2.8 km in the ward has been maintained as six waterfronts.
Nowadays, fish that live in very beautiful rivers, such as Hotokedo loach and bees can be seen.
It is a place where you can enjoy the natural scenery of satoyama rich in nature.

Seya Shimin-no-Mori
Seya Shimin-no-Mori is a forest with an area of about 18 ha, located on the east side of the ward.
The headwaters of the Izumi River is also here.
It has few undulations, coniferous forests and coppice forests, making it suitable for nature observation and strolling.
