The Yokohama City Ordinance aims to prevent construction disputes and to promote the formation of a safe and comfortable living environment in conservation.

For construction companies of middle- and high-rise buildings stipulated in the Building Standards Law, sunshine, privacy, safety for the surroundings, reduction of noise and vibration during construction, and neighborhood of building plans according to the characteristics of the area and building use. Explanation to residents is required.
