City park

A city park is a park or green space listed below, and includes park facilities established by the local government or the country that is the installer, in the park or green space. (Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the City Parks Act)

１．Parks or green spaces that are city planning facilities, which are set up by local governments and parks or green spaces set up by local governments in city planning areas.

２．The following parks or green spaces set up by the government.

A park or green space that is a city planning facility installed from a wide area perspective that crosses the area of one prefecture. (Generally referred to as I Park)

Parks or green spaces that are urban planning facilities to be established as a national commemorative project or after a Cabinet decision to preserve and utilize excellent cultural assets unique to Japan. (Generally referred to as Rogo Park)
