Nice communication! (As of August 3, 2019)

Africa Heli Teiji Festival in Nishi Ward was held!

Last update date September 2, 2019

On Saturday, August 3 and Sunday 4th, the Africa Heli Teiji Festival in Nishi Ward was held at Takashima Chuo Koen in Minatomirai district.
With the aim of becoming the "city closest to Africa", Yokohama City provides technical cooperation such as citizen exchange, water supply business and waste management, and corporate business development support. From August 28th to 30th, the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TIIDAD7) will be held in Pacifico-yokohama from August 28th to 30th.
This festival was held for the first time in Nishi Ward to make African culture, life and music more accessible.
It's hotter than Africa under the blue sky without clouds! It was so hot that the people of Africa said, but many people came to the event.

"Africa Heli Teiji" means "Africa's property and inherited."

While African music was playing, those who enjoyed meals, those who were enthusiastic about the experience corner, and everyone in the venue seemed to feel "Africa". I think there was "African" that I learned for the first time.
Above all, the cheerful smiles of the African people blowing away the heat were very impressive.
