Pregnant Women's Health Checkups Fee (Auxiliary Ticket)

In Yokohama City, when handing out the Maternal and Child Health Handbook, we hand 14 auxiliary tickets to assist with the cost of pregnant women Health Checkups.

Childbirth costs

When a National Health Insurance member gives birth, a lump-sum childcare lump sum is paid. For more information, please refer to the following link.
If you are a member of employee health insurance, please ask the insurance you have.

For those who are having trouble with childbirth expenses (midwifery system)

Please contact us as there is a system stipulated in the Child Welfare Law that provides assistance to those who cannot bear the cost of childbirth, such as social security households, so please contact us. In addition, there are midwifery facilities (hospitals) based on the Child Welfare Law, where pregnant women who cannot receive hospitalized midwifery for economic reasons can enter and receive midwifery despite health needs.
