About proof of boundary investigation
In Yokohama City, when determining the boundary between the road and the land adjacent to the road, the boundary is confirmed locally and the local boundary is determined by the boundary mark.
At this time, we have created a road ledger area map or a boundary survey map as a document map for boundary determination.
The boundary survey map was created as a document for determining boundaries, but due to aging such as land use, the current situation may not match this drawing in many cases.
If the current situation does not match this drawing, it is necessary to confirm the boundary with the owner of the land adjacent to the road based on this document drawing, set up a new landmark, and determine the site.
The "Proof of the boundary survey map" conducted by Yokohama City is a proof that the boundary survey map and the local road match the distance between the boundary mark and the boundary mark.
This proof is called a "transcript of drawing".
The proof of the road being carried out by Yokohama City is, in principle, a "drawing copy", but if the Legal Affairs Bureau corrects the land area or corrects the map, or if it is a attached documents for payment to the Kanto Finance Bureau or application for delivery, you can apply for a copy certificate.

(Note 1) ： The actual measurement map of the drawing copy issuance invoice is a copy of the boundary survey map for roads and waterways, etc., in which the distance between points and the type of boundary mark are entered.
(Note 2) ： What is the actual measurement map of the copy certificate issuance invoice? I would like to receive the local distance, the type of boundary mark, and proof on a copy of the boundary survey map such as a waterway.

It takes about 2 weeks for a copy of the drawing and about 1 week for a copy certificate to be issued.
(In some cases, it may take more days.)
"Drawing copy" proves that the boundary survey drawing matches the local road. If the applicant conducts a survey and actual measurement of the presence or absence of a boundary mark on site, and confirms that it is consistent with the drawing, omit the local boundary survey (the witness and consent of the adjacent owner of the road) You can issue a copy. In addition, for "proof of road", it is condition of grant that it matches not only on the application site but also on the opposite side.
If the distance between the drawing and the site exceeds the tolerance, or if there is no boundary mark, you can apply for a boundary survey to Public Works Office, restore the boundary mark, and then issue a copy of the drawing.
Note: Regarding the tolerance of the distance between the drawing and the actual measurement point

- 10m or more ±5cm

Delivery of transcripts
It takes about 2 weeks from reception to delivery. When the transcript is completed, the person in charge will contact you. After paying the fee on the payment slip, please bring your receipt and come to receive it.
Please do not pay until you contact us.
The fee is 600 yen per brush for each application. If the application area spans several brushes, the number of brushes x 600 yen (x required number of copies).
"Copy proof" means that the applicant confirms all landmarks on site and conducts actual measurements, and as a result, confirms that the road ledger drawing and the local road match at the applicant's responsibility, It proved that it was a drawing created by Yokohama City because there was no offer, and Yokohama City did not confirm the match between the site and the drawing.
Because it is a simple proof, the application range of the certification is limited to one side of the road, and the same applicant cannot apply for certification on both sides of the road by applying multiple times. If proof on both sides of the road is required, please apply for a "drawing copy".
"Copy proof" can be issued in one application for proof of application drawing only one proof.
The use of the "copy certificate" is limited to the attached documents for the applicant's land area correction to the Legal Affairs Bureau, correction of the land area to the Legal Affairs Bureau, payment to the Kanto Finance Bureau, or application for delivery. The same applicant cannot apply for the same place multiple times for the same purpose, and cannot be used by anyone other than the applicant or transferred to anyone other than the applicant.
Also, it cannot be used for temporary registration.
