Boundary survey
Last update date November 8, 2018
What is Boundary Survey?
It is to clarify the boundary between roads, rivers, waterways, etc. managed by Yokohama City and the land in contact with this.
When person who owns land in contact with road and waterway needs boundary investigation, by application from the person concerned, related landowner and Yokohama-shi will discuss witness by application from that person.
When this witness consultation is established, the boundary is determined, and a boundary mark is set up and a boundary survey map is created. Boundary survey maps can be used for buying and selling land, land area correction, writing brushes, etc.
(In the boundary survey, when the boundary is undecided, the relevant landowner and the city will be present to determine the boundary when the boundary is undetermined, and when the boundary has already been determined but becomes unclear , There is a "boundary restoration" to check again. Before applying, please check the presence or absence of documents related to boundaries, such as boundary survey maps such as road waterways in Public Works Office and road ledger of the Road Investigation Division. )
