In preparation for the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) to be held in Yokohama in 2025, a promotion council was established to further deepen cooperation with the business community and related organizations.
At the general meeting, I greeted him as the chairman of the council, and thanked him for inviting him to Yokohama and helping him prepare for the event.
Through the holding of TICAD 9 in Yokohama, we will further deepen our ties with Africa that we have built up so far, and widely disseminate Yokohama's decarbonization and green initiatives to realize the GREEN x EXPO 2027 and a decarbonized society beyond that.
