The Japan-EU Urban Climate Action Workshop was held in Pacifico-yokohama, with the aim of sharing leading examples of decarbonization and linking them to climate change countermeasures.
During the opening session, Pakistan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Japan, Deputy Minister of the Environment, and the City of Paris gave a lecture, and I introduced Yokohama's efforts.
In addition, Mayor Lyon and Deputy Mayor Frankfurt, who are closely related to Yokohama, participated online and received a strong message to decarbonization.
Going forward, we will continue to work closely with cities around the world and contribute to the promotion of decarbonization around the world.
