Currently, we are developing a “new medium-term plan”, but in order to listen to the opinions of the younger generation who will lead the future of Yokohama, based on the “basic direction” that is the starting point of the discussion of the plan formulation, We had a talk session with eight university students who are enrolled and living in the city.
We received a wide range of frank opinions, such as "I want to make it a city where I want to raise children" and "I want to be a city where nature and IT are fused," and we were able to have a fulfilling discussion.
I heard the passion of everyone who seriously thought and acted about the future of Yokohama, and felt very reliable.
We will continue to formulate a medium-term plan to create a town where young people can live lively and personally in Yokohama in the future.
