We held meeting in agency to discuss measure about promotion of gender equality.
For the realization of a gender equality society, it is necessary for the city hall to take the initiative in taking the initiative and realize a work environment that is easy for all staff to play an active role.
At the meeting, we exchanged opinions on the themes of "promotion of male staff taking childcare leave" and "improvement of women in responsible positions" at the city hall, and worked to improve the participation ratio of female committee members at affiliated organizations in Yokohama City. We shared what we worked on with deputy mayor, ward bureau general manager.
In addition, from this fiscal year, we participated in the Association of Male Leaders to Accelerate the Active Role of Shining Women, consisting of about 280 corporate managers and heads of local governments. We will accelerate our efforts while deepening our network with leaders from various organizations and industries around the country.
