Hamako Water Supply Festival 2024

It is an event where both adults and children can enjoy and learn about the familiar water supply of Yokohama, which is usually used casually.

Introducing the work of water source forests and the activities of conservation, which Water Works Bureau is conducting.

This is a booth by Metawater Co., Ltd., which manages and operates Kawai Purification Plant.
You can use an experimental set to learn how the water brought from the water source is cleaned at the water purification plant.

Use a microscope to observe the microorganisms living in the water source.

You can make an original coaster by cutting thinned wood * (hinoki logs) from the Doshi Water Source Forest.

You can experience woodworking, such as making door plates, using natural materials such as acorns and branches.

This is a product exhibition in Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where the Doshi River, one of the water sources of Yokohama, flows.
We offer a lot of fresh vegetables and specialty products such as cresons grown in the rich nature of Michishi Village.

Introducing "Yamanami Goko", the five water sources in Kanagawa Prefecture.
We also offer brochures for various water sources.

Videos will introduce the importance of "Water Day" on August 1 and the "Water Cycle" closely related to our lives.
In addition, this booth is also the goal of the seal rally described below.
If you collect all the stickers, you can turn the gacha that hits the original goods.♪

1. First of all, get a "seal rally sheet" at the entrance of the venue.
2. Get stickers at the target booths (4 locations: "Water Source Forest conservation PR Corner", "Yamanami Goko PR Corner", "Let's look through a microscope", and "filtration experiment corner")!
3. You can play as much as the number of stickers you collect at the fair corner.♪
4. After collecting all the stickers, go to the "Water Day" corner! Let's get a prize by turning the gacha!
