Children are curious.
Small children are curious about the things around them in their rooms.
You can play anything you have with your own toys.
Accidental ingestion is common around the age of 6 to 11 months when you start hi-hi or grabbing.
[Number of accidental ingestion accidents by age (from the Health Damage Hospital Monitor Report on Household Goods, etc. in 2017)]
Many accidents have occurred after the evening.
Reports of accidents are concentrated from evening to night.
Be careful not to keep an eye on your child, as your mother and father overlap during busy hours.
[Number of accidental ingestion accidents by time (from the Health Damage Hospital Monitor Report on Household Goods in 2017)]
Accidents such as tobacco and pharmaceuticals are conspicuous.
According to the Health Damage Monitor Report on Household Goods in 2017, there were 640 reports of accidental ingestion accidents in children.
By product category, tobacco was the most common at 147 cases, followed by 92 cases for pharmaceuticals and quasi-drugs, 72 cases for food products, and 63 cases for plastic products.
In addition, care must be taken against accidental ingestion of button batteries and liquid detergent for washing.
button batteries is said to stick to the walls of the gastrointestinal tract when it enters the body, causing damage.
It is used not only in children's toys but also in a wide range of products such as watches, timers, home appliances remote controls, and calculators, so make sure that the battery lids of these products are not easily removed. Also, be sure to keep unused and used button batteries out of reach of children.

(Press Release from the Consumer Affairs Agency and the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan on June 18, 2014)
Care should be taken because the liquid laundry detergent is easy to attract children's interest due to the shape of the product, and there is a high risk when the contents are scattered with concentrated detergent.
"Be careful about the laundry pack type liquid detergent! -In particular, accidents are concentrated in infants under 3 years old-" (PDF: 722KB)
(Press Release from the Consumer Affairs Agency and the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan on March 18, 2015)
It is important not to place dangerous objects where the child can see or reach.
