About formaldehyde
Some clothing are processed using chemical substances to prevent wrinkles and shrinkage. Formaldehyde (formalin) may be detected in certain types of processing agents commonly used for these.
Formaldehyde is a highly stimulating substance that can cause allergies.
Contact with a textile product with a high concentration of formaldehyde may cause skin disorders such as a rash or allergies.
The baby's skin is binkan.
In the case of babies, the skin is more sensitive than adults, and licks clothes, so they may enter the body through the mouth.
For this reason, the standards for infant textiles under two years of age are stricter than other textiles.
Formaldehyde is easily soluble in water, so wash your baby's clothing should be washed (washed).
In addition, formaldehyde is easily adsorbed by clothing.
Formaldehyde is contained in plywood adhesives such as furniture and cigarette smoke, so be careful of storing clothing and ventilation in the room.

Recently, the number of cases of dermatitis due to formaldehyde has decreased, but allergies due to some kind of anti-caving agents and dyes have been found.
