Information on the Yokohama City Centerminami Passport Center window (application procedure)

Those who have registered as residents in Yokohama City
※Applications for residents living in municipalities other than Yokohama City cannot be made. Please use the Kanagawa Passport Center as before. In addition, in case of emergency or those who fall under penalties, etc., procedures will be taken at the Kanagawa Passport Center Headquarters (Yokohama), Kawasaki Branch, Prefectural Central Branch (Atsugi).
※Students who live in Yokohama and do not have resident registration, or who have long-term business trips, may be able to apply if certain conditions are met. As you confirm circumstances living in Yokohama-shi, applicant comes to window. Please contact us in advance for details.

Application
・Monday through Friday, from 9:00 to 16:45
Receipt
・Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, from 9:00 to 16:45
・On Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9:00 to 18:30
Holidays
・Saturday, public holidays, New Year's holidays (from December 29 to January 3 regardless of the day of the week)
※On Sunday, only pick-up is accepted. However, if Sunday falls on a holiday, we will accept it, but it will be closed on Sunday during the year-end and New Year holidays.

Receipt will be made on or after the 8th day with the application date as the first day. (Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, and New Year's holidays (from December 29 to January 3) are not included in the number of days.)
※The number of days required to receive is different from the passport center of the prefecture.
※The applicant (passport holder) must come to receive it.
※If you apply at the Yokohama City Centerminami Passport Center, the pick-up location will also be the Yokohama City Centerminami Passport Center.
