Yokohama citizens can use two passport centers in the city.

・Yokohama citizens can use either the Yokohama City Passport Center (jointly operated by the Kanagawa Prefecture Passport Center (head office) or the Centerminami Passport Center.

・Following the transfer of passport issuance work from the prefecture to the city, the Yokohama City Centerminami Passport Center was newly established on October 31, 2019 in the Municipal Subway Center Minami Station Building. (If you live in Yokohama, you can use it.)

※If it is deemed appropriate from the viewpoint of the convenience of the applicant, such as commuting to school or commuting, you can also use the passport center branch office, branch office, and business office in the prefecture outside the city.
