What is Yokohama City Housing Policy Council?

In response to the mayor's consultation, we investigate and discuss important matters related to housing policy in Motoichi.
Important matters related to housing policy are those necessary to promote housing policies that respond to changes in socio-economic conditions, including diverse citizen needs and trends in the country, based on a long-term perspective.

• The committee consists of no more than 25 members, one chairman and two vice chairmen.
• Establishment of specialized subcommittees to investigate and discuss specific matters as necessary.
• In the council, a secretary will be appointed by the mayor from the Yokohama City staff and assist the committee members.
• General affairs of the Council shall be handled in Housing and Architecture Bureau.
