Last update date April 10, 2019

AEDs were installed at the Tsuzuki Plant.

What is AED?

AED (Automated External Defibrillator Automated External Defibrillator) is a medical device that restores a normal rhythm by giving an electric shock when the heart is convulsed (ventricular fibrillation). Since July 2004, it has become available to the general public, and installation in public facilities such as schools, stations and airports is progressing. Along with the AED installation, an AED workshop was held in July 2007 so that the staff could perform emergency resuscitation correctly and calmly in case of emergency.
