What is the difference?

oversized garbage collection system for those who have difficulty taking oversized garbage to the collection site. (Elderly people, persons with disabilities, certified caregivers, etc., who live alone in principle)

We will ask oversized garbage to collect the target person's home.

Target person

In principle, elderly people living alone and people with disabilities who have difficulty taking oversized garbage to the collection place. (Those who fall under any of the following items and are in a state where it is difficult to take the oversized garbage to the collection site by themselves.)

<<Those who are subject to collection>

  • Elderly people aged 65 and over
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Those who have been certified as requiring nursing care
  • Those who have individual factors from a welfare perspective recognized by the Asahi Office Director

*Those who have individual factors from a welfare perspective recognized by the Asahi Office Manager are as follows.

  • Pregnant women (pregnancy or up to 8 weeks after childbirth)
  • Sick people (those who have temporarily reduced physical strength and physical function)

As a general rule, it is for those living alone, but even if there is a family living together, if the cohabitant is an elderly person and is in the same state as the person, it will be subject to take-out collection.)

★Specifically, we make reasonable judgments at the stage of the preliminary survey.

Precautions for taking-out collection

  • Yokohama City will not be liable in principle if the goods at the target person's house are damaged due to a light work accident.
  • oversized garbage collection fee will be charged the same amount as regular oversized garbage collection fee.
  • For those who have individual factors from the welfare point of view recognized by the director of the Asahi Office", please refer to the materials that can explain the target requirements. (Mother and Child Handbook, Medical Certificate, etc.)
  • The number limit for one take-out collection is limited to 10 pieces.
  • Some effluents are not subject to carry-on collection. (Emissions that cannot be taken out of the doorway unless disassembled or other furniture is moved.)
