This is a support for garbage collection for elderly people living alone and people with disabilities who cannot take oversized garbage to the designated place.

A person living alone who falls under any of the following and is difficult to cooperate with family members and close people and cannot take oversized garbage to the designated place. In addition, even if there is a cohabitant, if the cohabitant falls under any of the following, such as the elderly or a young person, it is eligible.

• Those who have been issued a certificate of the physically disabled
• Those who have been issued a love notebook
• Those who have been issued the Mental Handicapped Health and Welfare Handbook
• Those who have been certified by The Long-term Care Insurance (support required)
• Person 65 years or older who cannot take out garbage
• Pregnant women or injured persons who have been approved by the office manager

The following items or items are not subject to collection by oversized garbage.

• Prohibited substances specified by the Yokohama CityYokohama City General Waste Management Implementation Plan）
• Business municipal waste
• General waste generated by felling garden trees by landscaping companies and repairs by contractors, etc., which were implemented for a fee.
• oversized garbage cannot be taken out of the doorway unless it is disassembled with tools or the movement of other furniture.
• oversized garbage cannot be taken out unless it is discharged from windows using ropes or heavy equipment.

Reception hours: Monday to Saturday (including holidays) from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm
We will check in advance whether it corresponds to the target person.
Please note that it may take some time from reception to collection, and we may not be able to meet your request on the collection date.

• If a preliminary inspection is deemed necessary due to confirmation of requirements for the target person or large furniture, the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau office will visit your home and conduct a preliminary survey.
• At the time of collection, you will be required to attend the target person or applicant in principle.
• On the day of collection, please sign or seal the confirmation materials for the contents of the take-out collection.
• Yokohama City will not be liable in principle if the goods at the target person's house are damaged due to a light work accident.
• oversized garbage collection fee will be charged the same amount as regular oversized garbage collection fee.

※Households receiving welfare, specific Japanese households remaining in China receiving living support benefits, severely disabled, severely mentally ill, severely intellectually disabled, and elderly people requiring severe care (65 years old or older) There is a system to reduce or exempt fees for households to which belong, single-parent households receiving the welfare Medical Certificate, and elderly people living alone (over 70 years old) who have difficulty carrying in self-loading.
