Person who cannot take household garbage from home to collection site (contact collection)

For elderly people living alone and people with disabilities who are unable to take the household garbage to the collection point, this is a support for collecting garbage directly from their premises or at the front door.

Those who are living alone who fall under any of the following and who have difficulty in cooperating with their families and close people and cannot take household garbage to the collection area by themselves. In addition, even if there is a cohabitant, it is eligible if the cohabitant falls under any of the following.

• Those who have been issued a certificate of the physically disabled
• Those who have been issued a notebook of love
• Those who have been issued the Mental Handicapped Health and Welfare Handbook
• Those who have been certified as requiring nursing care (support required) by The Long-term Care Insurance
• Those who are 65 years old or older who cannot take out garbage

Please apply to the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau office using the application form.
We will visit your home in advance to check if you are eligible.

Once a week, city officials visit the collection.
