Muji, which is developed by Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., is gradually reviewing the sub-materials of products along with shopping bags and packaging, with the aim of recycling global resources and reducing waste.
(Example of reduction)
・We have changed the pins that are usually made of plastic-based tags from Fall and Winter 2021 products to paper tag pins.
・From the spring/summer 2020 season, the packaging of inner products has been switched to paper mainly on paper, and has reduced the number of fasteners and mounts that have been put in place to maintain shape.
・Changed hooks for displaying socks using recycled paper from the spring/summer 2019 season The tag pin for holding socks has also been changed to thread.
In addition, all the shops in Muji ※Collection boxes have been set up in cash registers and stores to collect and recycle paper hangers and hooks.
After collection, it is melted at the factory, recycled into paper, then processed, and used for paper hangers for some Muji products. Thank you for your cooperation in the collection.
