What is the difference?

We have prepared a pre-registration system to make it easier to propose ideas for town development that you think about. Pre-registration is accepted throughout the year!

How to apply for pre-registration

What is "Town Public Contracting Child Care Plus"?
In the town contract business, we have realized many proposals involving the child-rearing generation and children. In order to realize the basic strategy of the Yokohama City Medium-Term Plan 2022-2025, “Yokohama, a town that nurtures the next generation together,” we have expanded the support system as “Child care plus” from 2023. .

※This project is subject to the approval of the budget for fiscal 2024 in Yokohama City Council. If the budget is not voted on, the project will not be implemented.

A group that meets all of the following requirements.

  • Including three or more inhabitants in Yokohama-shi corresponding to any of the following.
  1. Maintenance place or near it ※Those who live in 1
  2. Maintenance place or near it ※Those who run business in 1
  3. Maintenance place or near it ※Person who owns land or building in 1
  • Be willing to take the initiative in the maintenance.
  • Land owners, etc. in advance ※2. Explain the contents of the maintenance proposal and applying for this project.

※1 "Nearby" means, in principle, the town where the planned maintenance site is located and the town street adjacent to the town street.
※2 Land owners are those who own, rent, or substantially have the right to use land and buildings (including companies and administrative agencies).

This is a proposal that meets all of the following requirements.

  • Initiatives that make use of new ideas, methods, local resources, etc. possessed by residents, etc., and the results are expected to contribute to local community development.
  • It must be within the scope that residents can take the initiative.
  • There must be public nature.

Is it possible to make a proposal without specifying the maintenance location specifically?
A

As it is a maintenance proposal, it cannot be proposed unless the maintenance location is specified.

Can I make a proposal without the consent of landowners, etc.?
A

It can be proposed even if the consent of landowners (land owners, tenants, those who have substantially the right to use, companies, or public facilities managers) has not been obtained.
However, prior to applying for the first contest, you will be asked to explain to the landowner, etc., and fill out the application documents with the explanation status.
In addition, it is necessary to obtain the consent of landowners, etc. by the second contest.

Is it possible to make a proposal without specifically specifying the maintenance details?
A

If you do not specify the maintenance details, you will not be able to make a proposal.
Regarding the contents of the maintenance, the first contest application documents can be explained in writing.

Can I propose unless I pay for the cost of maintenance in the area?
A

In addition to devising labor burdens and material procurement, we can propose even if it is not a cost-bearing content, such as devising maintenance and management of the facilities that have been maintained.

Is it possible to make a proposal if there is a borrowing deadline for renting private land?
A

You can make a proposal, but as a condition for granting a maintenance subsidy, it is necessary to maintain and maintain the facility for 10 years when constructing a building and 5 years for others.

Can I apply for a corporation?
A

The composition of the proposal group is on an individual basis. For example, it is possible to apply for a representative of a corporation, etc., to become a member of the group and to meet the requirement that three or more local residents are included.

Can I receive grants from other bureaus at the same time?
A

Other subsidies cannot be allocated to the same maintenance contents, but it may be possible to clearly distinguish them from the subsidies of the town contract business. Please indicate this in the application form. Please be sure to contact us at the time of application.

Can I increase the number of pages if there is not enough space on the application form?
A

In order to conduct a fair review, the number of pages on the application form must be adhered to the rules.
In the case of PC input, please set the font size to 10.5 points or more.

If there is a change in the plan after the deadline for submitting the contest application documents and before the contest, can I replace the application documents?
A

Application documents cannot be replaced.
If you change your plan, you will have to explain it in the contest announcement.

I would like you to read the newsletter and newspaper articles on the activities of the group, so can I submit them together with the application documents?
A

In the first contest, you can attach up to 1 page of A4 size, and in the second contest, up to 2 pages of A3 size to the application documents.

How do you make a presentation of the first contest?
A

Using imitation paper, PowerPoint, etc., please present maintenance proposals in front of the judges and the general audience. At the venue, there is a display that reflects the PC screen and a panel that attaches imitation paper.

Could you tell me why you were not selected in the contest?
A

The selection will be conducted at the public contest, and the results will be announced on the day.
In addition, a comment from the judge will be attached to the notification of the results of the contest so that both passing and non-passing groups can refer to future activities.

If the maintenance cannot be carried out in the following fiscal year due to the results of discussions with landowners after the first contest, will the next primary contest be exempted?
A

If there is no prospect of developing the next year, you will not be able to participate in the second contest. Also, you will not be exempted from the next primary contest.

Can I purchase a personal computer with an activity grant?
A

Office supplies are required for activities for the second contest and can only be purchased for consumables of up to 30,000 yen.

Can activity subsidies and maintenance subsidies be used for food and drink expenses for those who participated in the work, and for the maintenance and management of the facilities that have been maintained?
A

It cannot be used for indirect expenses (transfer fees, transportation expenses, eating and drinking expenses, etc.) or expenses required for maintenance and management of the maintained facilities.
The target expenses of the subsidy are the activity expenses from the first contest to the completion of maintenance, rewards to technical cooperators, design expenses, construction supervision expenses, and activity expenses associated with maintenance.

Can the maintenance subsidy be used for the cost of purchasing and borrowing land and buildings?
A

It cannot be used for the purchase or borrowing of land or buildings.
The target expenses of the maintenance subsidy are design costs, construction costs, construction supervision costs, and activity costs associated with maintenance.

Is the full amount of the application for grant of the maintenance subsidy issued?
A

After the maintenance subsidy grant application, the grant will be decided after examining the application contents in Motoichi, so the grant application amount will not necessarily be issued in full.
In addition, in the second contest, the selection may be made after conditions regarding the quantity and the maximum amount of maintenance subsidies.

When will the maintenance grant be paid?
A

As a general rule, it will be after the completion of the maintenance by the secretariat.
However, you can pay in advance if you purchase raw materials and pay labor by residents, etc., or if it is necessary to pay a part of the cost of construction etc. before completion.

In the case of proposal to maintain on municipal land, does proposal group perform consensus building with related section of city?
A

Proposal group plays a leading role and please push forward discussion with related section of city. We support local town development section including connecting with related section of city.

Is it necessary to have insurance if the community pays for labor and maintains it?
A

There is a "Yokohama City Citizens' Activities Insurance System" that does not require advance registration or registration procedures, and this system may be used for members of the proposal group.
