Notification system for acts in the area of city planning

About report of city planning

When you perform construction such as construction in area where district maintenance plan of city planning was established, please attach design documents to registration form and report to department in charge of the district concerned at least 30 days before day when you start construction . When building confirmation application is accompanied, please file for report before confirmation application.
Confirm that the report conforms to the contents stipulated in the city planning.
The period until the return of the duplicate is about 1 to 2 weeks If there are any deficiencies, it may take more time.

[If there is a plan change]
If you intend to change the design or construction method for matters pertaining to the notification, please notify the section in charge of the district with the design documents etc. to the change registration form at least 30 days before the start of the construction pertaining to the change . When you accompany plan change application of building confirmation, please file for report before the application.

We ask you to submit two copies of the main and secondary copies.

The attached documents vary depending on the act.
In attached book, please specify "the situation that conforms to limit set forth in matter about buildings of district maintenance plan".
※In the case of a change, please attach the book pertaining to the change. In attached book, please specify "part pertaining to change" and "the situation where the part conforms to restrictions such as buildings of district maintenance plan".

Changes in land parcel traits

Drawings and blueprints showing area map and public facilities

New construction, extension, renovation and relocation of buildings (*1)

Location map, layout drawing, greening facility floor plan and greening facility conformity certification notice (* 5), floor plan, elevation, etc. (* 6)

Construction of structures

①If permission is not required: Documents certifying the need for permission, location map, area map, and construction drawing
②When permission is required and involves actions other than cutting wood and bamboo are involved: Permit and attached documents (copy)


Remarks
※1. Includes extensions that do not involve confirmation applications.
※2. Notification is required only when "restrictions on the use of buildings" are stipulated in the district maintenance plan.
※3. Notification is required when "restrictions on forms such as buildings or designs" are stipulated in the district maintenance plan.
※4. Notification is required only when "Matters related to conservation such as forest land" are stipulated in the district maintenance plan.
※5. Necessary only when the "minimum of greening rate of buildings" is stipulated in the district maintenance plan.
※6. Please submit specifications, quadrature maps, quadrature tables, etc. according to the items stipulated in the district maintenance plan.

Notification method

The department in charge varies depending on the district. The inquiry section at the bottom of the page of each city planning page is the department in charge.

Notification by bringing it to the counter

Please report directly to the section in charge of the department in charge.

Notification by mail

Please enclose a reply envelope with the reply address and stamp attached, and mail it to the section in charge.

This notification corresponds to electronic application. Please access the form from the link below.
Please fill in required items in registration formregistration form and otherrequired documents drawings. (From June 2023, the number of items on the form have been reduced. Please fill in the registration form form and submit the required items.)

When plan contents do not conform to city planning

When act pertaining to report does not conform to city planning, city can recommend that we take change of design or take other necessary measures.
If the non-conforming matter is a part that is ordinanced based on the Building Standards Law, the examination of the building confirmation will not be passed.
Anyone who does not submit a report or makes a false report may be fined.

※Please note that the procedure for applying for permission to exclude greening rate by ordinance on restrictions such as buildings in the area of Yokohama City District Planning has been changed since September 1, 2021. As for the details, please confirm page about "greening of building by city planning regulations".
