What is a district plan?

City planning is a district-by-district city planning determined based on the City Planning Act.
In city planning, in addition to city planning determined by the whole city, by establishing district-specific policies and goals, public facilities, restrictions on buildings, etc., we will create a town that matches the characteristics and objectives of the district .

When we perform construction in "area where district maintenance plan is established", report to Yokohama-shi within 30 days before day when we start construction based on rule of Town Planning and Zoning Act Article 58-2 Is required. (Notification system for acts in the area of city planning


Greening

When contents of "minimum greening rate of building" are established in the regulations about restrictions such as buildings in area of city planning (hereinafter referred to as "city planning regulations"), greening rate Procedures such as proof of conformity are required before the above notification.

Certification of form design

In districts that stipulate the contents of "restrictions on forms such as buildings or colors and other designs" in the City Planning Ordinance, it is necessary to apply for certification for plans of buildings in Yokohama City and receive the mayor's certification. (Certification of form design restrictions, etc.


Building confirmation

About matter about buildings, thing established in the city planning regulations is examined by building manager of Yokohama-shi or designated confirmation inspection organization in procedure of building confirmation.


Restrictions on Acts

In areas designated as “conservation-related matters such as forest land and grasslands,” construction, development, logging and other activities cannot be carried out in principle. (Restrictions on areas such as forest land, grassland, etc.




District facilities, etc.

Public vacant lots designated as district facilities must be maintained for the district without occupying certain people or objects, taking into account that they are provided for the district.

When temporarily occupying district facilities

However, this does not apply when the district facilities are temporarily occupied by events. In that case, it is necessary to make sufficient adjustments with the manager of the district facility and receive confirmation that it conforms to the private use standards.
