Overview of the District
Sotetsu Futamatagawa Station is a key point of traffic where the main line and the Izumino Line diverge, and nearby facilities such as a driving test site in Kanagawa Prefecture, a cancer center, and a children's natural park are located.
At the north exit, the redevelopment building "Alcot Futamatagawa" was completed in 1996, and at the south exit, the redevelopment building "Copre Futamatagawa / Gray Shea Tower Futamatagawa" was completed in 2018.
In addition, in the area of about 17ha around the station, we conduct town planning guidance based on the Futamatagawa Station area town planning consultation guidelines.
Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project in the South Exit of Futamatagawa Station
In the Futamatagawa south exit area, we are working to strengthen traffic nodal functions, including the development of the south exit traffic plaza, and to promote the accumulation of functions that take advantage of the wide-area bases of child-rearing support facilities, welfare facilities, business facilities, commercial facilities, urban housing, etc. In line with the development of the adjacent urban planning road, the Kamoi Kamiiida Line, a project that is directly linked to the Tokyo metropolitan area.
