Q1 What kind of donations do you use in this donation menu?
A We will use it to subsidize the preservation and use of historic buildings in town planning, and to install and update signs and explanation boards that introduce historical buildings in the city.

Q2 Even Yokohama citizens can pay their hometown tax in Yokohama City?
A Of course, it is possible and is subject to tax credit. We believe that using a part of your tax for what you want to support, in other words, how to use the tax yourself is the important significance of your hometown tax payment. However, due to the revision of the Local Tax Law in 2019, donations from people in the residential area will not be able to provide return goods with consideration elements.

In 1988, Yokohama City established the “Guidelines for Town Development Utilizing History” and, with the cooperation of its owners, has been working on the use of conservation for historic buildings. In fiscal 2013, in order to formulate "Promotion of" Town Development Utilizing History "," which describes issues and future measures in promoting town development utilizing history, and to promote initiatives with citizens, We showed the direction of conservation, a historic building through citizen funds and trusts.
The support through this hometown tax payment will be used to subsidize the preservation and use of historic buildings in town planning, and to install and update signs and explanation boards that introduce historical buildings in the city. I will continue.
