Residential Area Improvement Project

Purpose
In the residential area improvement project, after designating areas where the living environment is inferior due to densely populated defective houses (Notes), etc., as improvement areas based on the Residential Area Improvement Law, and removing all defective houses in the district, The purpose is to improve the living environment by constructing improved houses for residents to move in and maintaining roads, parks, etc.
(Note) "Defective housing" refers to buildings or buildings that are mainly used for living, and whose structure or equipment is extremely poor, so it is extremely inappropriate to be used for living. .

- Comprehensive development of facilities such as improved housing construction and roads, parks, and meetinghouses
- Legal business to which the Land Expropriation Act applies
Requirements for Designation of Improvement Areas
- 1 The area of housing complex must be at least 0.15 hectares.
- 1 The number of defective housing units in housing complex must be at least 50.
- 1 The ratio of the number of defective housing units to the number of housing units in housing complex is 80% or more.
- 1 The ratio of the number of houses in housing complex to the area of housing complex (excluding public facilities) must be at least 80 units per hectare.
