Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Council

The Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Council is a regional council based on Article 40, Paragraph 1 of the Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Act.
As one of the main actors toward achieving Zero Carbon Yokohama, we are engaged in various educational activities that lead to the practice of low-carbon lifestyles for citizens and businesses, such as energy saving and renewable energy.

In 2018, we received the Minister of the Environment's Commendation for Global Warming Prevention Activities, which contributed to the prevention of global warming and awareness, and were awarded the Minister of the Environment Award for Global Warming Prevention Activities.
